Genome editing technologies for plant breeding have rapidly been developed. However, applying these technologies in the field is not so easy because of ethical and legal problems. In this project, it is aimed to establish a novel plant genome editing method without recombinant DNAs. In addition, it is also planned to quantitatively measure undesireble mutations during tissue culture, which is an indispensable process in plant genome editing.
