Outline

Innovative catalysts for the transformation of methane to useful chemicals are to be presented and developed by accumulating the functions that are key steps for methane activation. First of all, surface specific oxo species are to be prepared on the catalyst surface for the C-H activation of methane and the following association with activated oxygen. A cavity intended to prevent from overoxidation is to be developed around the catalytically active species. Finally, pulse field is to be applied to catalysts in order for the effective desorption of the products.
