Outline
Mechanoresponsive luminescent materials having rotaxanes, which have been well-investigated in supramolecular chemistry, will be developed. Using the mechanoprobes, I will tackle establishment of reliable methods to evaluate tiny mehcanical forces generated by living cells with ultimate accuracy.
