This new research project tries to develop emerging software and hardware technologies to encourage tinkers to fabricate networked sensing devices easily. This low-cost and practical prototype development tools will make it possible to create a new eco-system for open innovation where a prototype fabrication triggers fundraising and the creation of new business models.
