Outline

Ecological systems with varying component composition have been ubiquitously observed in biological phenomena. Although associations between species composition change of microbial species with several diseases have been implicated, identification of a mechanistic link between species diversity loss and disease progression needs to be investigated. In this research, mathematical modeling and simulation are employed to obtain understandings underlying mechanisms for disease progression in dysbiotic conditions.
