The aim of this research is to develop the new prediction model by using theories of various fields of mathematics. Combining the concepts of data analysis (comprehension of the high-dimensional system), mathematical modelling (extraction of the governing principle) and data assimilation (improvement of the prediction model) through a variety of mathematical theories, we attempt a breakthrough to the prediction theory. Long-term prediction such as weather prediction is a targeted real-world issue of this research project, and we try to make progress toward achieving the goal through close cooperation with meteorologists.
