Individual cells even under the same environment are known to exhibit different gene expression levels. Causes of cell-to-cell heterogeneity in gene expression are wide-ranging, also vary greatly by each gene. In this research , I will develop a fundamental technology for comprehensive identification of the determinants of the cell-to-cell heterogeneity in gene expression, and aim to control the heterogeneity.
