Outline

In this research, we aims to develop physical processing technology that targets single cells, using micromanipulation and nanofabrication techniques. We propose nanobrade array structures that enable us to divide single cell/tissue physically into small fractions without losing their spatial information. The technological developments are expected to realize the quantitative and spatial analysis of intracellular molecules through the measurements of each cell fractions, and also they will create the way to the utilization of the cell fractions for new nanobio applications.
