Outline

Single-cell analysis in tissues is required for elucidating biological phenomena in which intercellular interaction and communication networks play a crucial role. However, it is difficult to use conventional techniques for single-cell analysis in tissues. To achieve this, I aim to develop two deep imaging techniques, one with a spatial resolution of better than 100 nm up to a penetration depth of a few hundreds of micrometers, and the other with a spatial resolution of better than 1 m up to a penetration depth of a few millimeters.
