Outline

Despite the importance of tracking spatiotemporal dynamics of cellular developments at the single cell resolution, no such a technology has been developed. This project aims to develop DNA Barclock, a genetic circuit which accumulate DNA mutations on a short synthetic DNA sequence along with cell divisions, to track cellular lineages by highly-parallel short-read sequencing and computational lineage tree reconstruction.
