Outline

The main purpose of this project is design and development of switchable functions based on structural changes of several crystalline nano-cavities. We construct efficient systems for controlling adsorption, molecular transfer and selective coupling reactions, using cooperative structural changes of cavities in crystalline peptide metallo-macrocycles, The goal of the project is to develop next generation materials showing high functionality and efficiencies comparable to the allosteric effect observed in biological system.
