- [Ryota Sakamoto] Creation of functional low-dimensional nano-space material “nanosheet” by means of interfacial synthesis
Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo
Assistant Professor
I study on two-dimensional, nano-spaced, atomic-layer matters “bottom-up nanosheets”, which are woven from organic molecules and metal ions, and are potential nanomaterials. By taking advantage of interfacial syntheses and plenty of combinations of constituents, a wide variety of nanosheets may be created. Applications thereof are realized where their low-dimensional nano-spaces and two-dimensionality are exploited.
