Research Outline

The main emphasis of our research is design and development of chiral hyper-nano-space by buildup of pillar-shaped planar-chiral macrocyclic compounds. Based on the chiral hyper-nano-space, we aim to demonstrate separation, sensing and polymerization of chiral molecules, application for chiral polarized luminescence materials and construction of chiral nano-carbon materials. Our goals of the project are to develop next-generation hyper-nano-space, which can be easily synthesized by commercially available compounds and show innovative functionality.
