Research Outline

Metabolic products of lipid peroxides have been reported to involve in the pathogenesis of various diseases. However, lipid derived radicals which are key products of metabolic process of lipid peroxide, are difficult to detect due to high reactivity. The aim of this study is to develop the detection and structural analysis method for lipid derived radicals. Furthermore, this method applies to animal disease models. These results will provide valuable information regarding oxidative stress diseases.
