Research Outline

The study aims to develop the novel methodology to discover biomarker and drug target proteins by understanding dynamic protein functions. We achieve the goal by making use of small molecular fluorescent probes that enable the detection of enzyme activity, and by developing the proteomic platform to characterize the proteins with desired activities. The study focuses on "uncharacterized posttranslational modifications", in which disocvery and characterization of related enzymes are highly desired.
