We are aimed at promoting the development of innovative catalysts to convert methane and other alkane gas resources to useful chemicals through the basic understanding on the principles of catalytic reactions by means of the state-of-art in-situ atomic resolution transmission electron microscopy combined with synchrotron X-ray spectroscopy and theoretical simulations. We play a role also as a research platform of atomic resolution characterization for the research area to collaborate on the catalysis studies.
