Outline

In order to develop novel energy harvesting technology, our research will focus on antiferromagnets that have never received attention for such technology to date. In particular, we will focus on antiferromagnets that have a chiral spin structure and thus associated topologically nontrivial electronic structure. By designing and controlling the spin structure in antiferromagnets, we will develop power generation technologies using a large electromotive force such as thermoelectricity originated from topological properties of the electronic structure.
