Outline

We investigate device physics toward novel quantum technology for the heterostructures based on topological insulators utilizing such functions as high efficiency spin-charge conversion and quantized anomalous effect. Ferroelectric and superconducting compounds are employed in the heterostructures to pursue quantized magnetoelectrics and non-trivial quantum statistics. This study will enable device functions that are not able to be achieved in conventional semiconductors.
