This project develops data driven-methods to understand a full picture of the mechanisms of animal development by integrating the world largest spatiotemporal biological dynamics data of gene knockdown embryos, genomic information, and information of spatiotemporal expression and interaction of biological molecules such as mRNA, proteins and metabolites, and by combining advanced statistics and scientific visualization technologies. The project will establish the foundations of data-driven biology and transform biology into information science.
