Message

Japan will experience an aged society unlike that of any other country. A society in which previous conventional wisdom and assumptions no longer apply is approaching. This is not Japan's challenge alone. Japan is the harbinger of what is to come in South Korea, China, and elsewhere in East Asia. The aim of this focus area is to collect knowledge from the frontlines and turn it into explicit knowledge.
