Message

I began addressing issues related to an aging society after hearing Dr. Akiyama speak at the University of Tokyo lecture series on research and development visions. I have been participating in the University of Tokyo industry-academia consortium on gerontology since FY 2009. I have been joined by like-minded personnel from my company and its research institutes. Our aim is to better understand the issues and find solutions to which our company can contribute. Now that I have been named an Area Advisor, I hope to support from a business perspective the generation of useful results for the sake of realizing a fulfilling aging society not only for the elderly generation, but for younger generations as well.
