Message

Research in this focus area has conventionally been addressed only by researchers at universities and academic research institutes. I think this project is unique in the way it broadens the work to society as a whole, bringing the perspective of the citizen to the building of society. Because the area includes humanities and social science domains in which it is relatively difficult compared to the natural sciences to obtain clear evidence, the work will be that much harder. However, it is closely related to policy on how to create the highly aged society that is unprecedented in human history. The research will be accompanied by inspiring social experimentation. From my perspective as a person who began in the medical field of psychiatry and has also viewed many sides of society while working for a major news organization, I have great expectations for this project.
