The goal of this project is to develop innovative methods for challenging data processing tasks inherent in various application areas such as robot control, brain signal analysis, natural language processing, signal and image processing, and bioinformatics. In this project, various fundamental intelligent data processing tasks such as feature extraction, outlier detection, and conditional density estimation are formulated in a unified manner as "density ratio estimation" and practical algorithms are derived in a unique and distinctive way.
