Announcing Call for Proposals for Additional Project Managers for Moonshot Goals 8 & 9
Since FY2022, R&D projects under Moonshot Goals 8 & 9 have been carried out by Project Managers (PMs) under the supervision of each goal’s Program Director (PD). For Moonshot Goals 8 & 9, we plan to hold a call for proposals for additional PMs. Details will be announced on this website soon.

Realization of a society safe from the threat of extreme winds and rains by controlling and modifying the weather by 2050.
Primarily aiming to control heavy rainfall (including linear precipitation zones) and strong winds.

Realization of a mentally healthy and dynamic society by increasing peace of mind and vitality by 2050.
Aiming to relieve negative feelings and prevent related phenomena in children (e.g. depression, stress, anxiety, loneliness, abuse, suicide) [Feasibility Study]*2 Goal 9
- *1 Core Research: R&D project aiming to achieve the Moonshot Goal with your scenario, a grand design that leads to the goalʼs achievement by backcasting from your vision of an ideal 2050 society.
- *2 Feasibility Study: R&D project that contributes to the Moonshot Goal, without a scenario that leads to its achievement.
