In vivo Robustness Analysis of Eukaryotic cells

Robustness is a fundamental system-level property that is ubiquitously observed among biological phenomenon. Using the originally-developed gTOW method by which we can measure cellular robustness in the budding yeast, I aim to illuminate principles of the biological robustness, and to develop a highly precise computer model of the cell division cycle. Through the research framework which will be developed in this project, novel therapeutic procedures for disorders such as cancer are expected.
