Recent single molecule detection
techniques have revealed unique mechanism of actomyosin
molecular motor.
Molecular motor moves unidirectionally
with using Brownian motion (thermal fluctuation). Such
molecular motors are well organized in muscle systems,
which can control their spatiotemporal dynamics according
to various conditions.
In this study, molecular motor
is postulated as an information-processing unit based on
Brownian motion, and muscle as organized system based on
these Brownian units.
By modeling and experimental testing
for molecular motor system, I will try to understand and
create dynamic controlling mechanism realizing such dynamic
behaviors of bio systems.
