Outline

In this project, a novel integrated tactile sensing device called “Nano-scale Tactile Sensing Nerve Network” is developed for quantitative detection of delicate tactile sense, and applied to various measurement systems of “human hand feeling”. The highly sensitive tactile devices are realized by advanced nanoelectronics with high reliability of signal processing at very low power consumption for the applications such as condition monitoring of human skin or hair, texture measurement of luxury material, and advanced medical devices with tactile sense, etc.
