Outline

The selective oxidation of methane, which is a main component of natural gas, is one of the most important subjects in catalysis chemistry. In this research we aim at the development of innovative catalysts for direct methane oxidation on the basis of the enzymatic reactions that occur under normal temperature and pressure conditions. We achieve our goal through collaborations between theoretical and experimental studies using computational chemistry as a main tool.
