Outline

Magnetostrictive vibration based power generator is technology that generates power from environmental vibration efficiently. In this research project, the power generation device will be sophisticated to extract mW power semi-permanently from minute vibration. In addition, vibration exciting mechanisms from movement, wave, and flow, will be developed for wide use of battery-free IoT. Magnetostrictive material will be also improved in performance and homogeneity and its mass-production technology will be established for cost reduction.
