Outline

Our target material is “Coordination Nanosheet (CONASH)”, which is a two-dimensional molecular film synthesizable by the interfacial reaction of metal ions and planar p-conjugated bridging ligands. We will create various kinds of CONASH from monolayers to multilayers with homo- and hetero-structures, and investigate their unique electronic, magnetic, and optical properties, chemical activities, and mechanical properties. Their distinctive functions will be utilized for development of innovative electronic, photo- and electrochemical devices and chemical reaction systems.
