- [Hiroshi Suito]New challenges for mathematical modeling in clinical medicine
Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University
Professor
This research project is expected to contribute to society through application of mathematical modeling to clinical medicine. Our targets include wide-range approaches such as ascertaining various disease mechanisms using high-quality numerical simulations, extracting algorithms from the accumulated experiences of skilled physicians, and formulating high-performance medical image processing techniques. These challenging goals can be achieved through close collaboration between mathematical science and clinical medicine.
