Outline
This research will construct in silico experimental systems based on dermatological modeling, and we aim at establishing the foundations of mathematical dermatology. We also strive to induce technical innovations in dermatology. Through cooperative research with dermatologists, we will investigate mechanisms related to the aging process of the barrier function and the occurrence of non-histamine itch. Moreover, by collaborating with clinical dermatologists we will identify the pathogeny factor of keratosis, which will be a first step in improving patient care.
