JST Paris Office

Starting in August in 2018, JREC-IN Portal launched a data exchange service with EURAXESS, a support service for professional researchers in Europe.

Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the European Commission's DG Research and Innovation signed an Implementing Arrangement (IA) for research exchange between JST and the European Research Council (ERC) on 7th October 2018 at Kyoto International Conference Center.

Japan and the EU held the joint workshop to discuss exploration of promising cooperative areas and collaborating policies for the future at the Pierre and Marie Curie Campus of Sorbonne University (Paris, France).

Organized by EARMA (European Association for Research Managers and Administrators), the 24th Annual EARMA Conference was held in Brussels from April 16th to 18th. EARMA, consisting primarily of research managers and administrators, is an European organization for the professional development of research funding support. Ms. Nakayama (Deputy Director, JST Paris Office) introduced the EIG CONCERT-Japan at Poster Session, which is a potential funding opportunity for European stakeholders wising to collaborate with Japanese partners on Science, Technology and Innovation. In the meantime, she also introduced the latest joint call under the EIG CONCERT-Japan program in the research area “Functional Porous Materials” in the international conference.
