Invention Workshop for Spin Quntum Rectification

Invention workshop is a creative solution oriented brain storming and idea materialization activity by a team of variety of talents. ERQTO-SQR project leverages this well-established frame work to re-interpret the novel phenomena of the spin quantum rectification as novel solutions to problems in a particular market. In this time, we had devised several ideas of solutions based on the spin Seebeck effect and the spin hydrodynaic generations. We will continue this invention workshop so that we can propose novel ideas to the long term development of both academia and markets.

新現象"スピン流体発電"に関する論文が、PROOF OF SPIN HYDRODYNAMIC GENERATION IS PUBLISHED FROM .NATURE PHYSICS.

Ryo Takahashi (Ph.D Candidate at Tohoku University) and his team members found a novel phenomena named as "Spin hydrodynamic generation". This phenomena is a manifestation of the interaction between electron spins in a matter and the mechanical rotation of the matter. The reported experiment proved that a vorticity of the fluid dynamics generates electrical voltage via spin current flow. Our press release is available here.
