Outline

In reversible computing, logic operations can be conducted without heat generation. In this study, we aim to build an extremely energy-efficient reversible computer using adiabatic superconductor logic. We will demonstrate an 8-bit reversible adder and will show that the energy efficiency of superconductor reversible circuits is six orders of magnitudes better than that of conventional semiconductor integrated circuits.
