Outline

In order to breed rice varieties that have tolerant to water stresses, it is important to improve root system architecture. We have gradually understood that the root system formation is under the control of epigenetic regulation. Here, we try to develop the new molecular design method through grasping the changes in genome-wide status of histone modification during the soil water fluctuation.
