- [Ayumi Ishii] Development of organic-inorganic hybrid interfaces for a one-photon sensing device
Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, Teikyo University of Science
Associate Professor
This research aims to develop a high sensitive photodetector, which can detect light at one-photon level, beyond the functional limit of light-sensing, measuring, and imaging. Here, the organic and inorganic semiconductors are chemically combined by a coordination bond at the interface in attempting to create new optical system for conversion of one photon to more than 1000000 electrons of current. This hybrid system may enable high performance sensing of weak light signals such as a moonlight.
