<About WATOC>
WATOC (World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists) is one of the largest international congresses of the theoretical and computational chemists. In this WATOC2011 held in Spain, about 1,300 participants attended from more than 40 countries. 45 out of 849 poster presentations were awarded poster prizes. This is the sole Japanese poster prize winner in WATOC2001.

Poster Title: Incipient structural relaxation process of photolyzed carbonmonoxy myoglobin: statistical analysis by perturbation ensemble method.

Abstract: A relaxation process of photolyzed carbonmonoxy myoglobin was analyzed by the perturbation ensemble MD method. By ensemble averaging over 40,000 MD trajectories, the relaxation process involving the structural and vibrational relaxation was analyzed with very high precision.
