Yasunobu Ashie (Chief Research Engineer, Department of Environmental Engineering, Building Research Institute)
"It is considered that the anthropogenic exhaustion heat is one of the main
causes of the urban heat island phenomena in cities. In this research,
the generation sources of the anthropogenic exhaustion heat in Tokyo 23 wards
was databased to analyze the exhaustion characteristics of anthropogenic
exhaustion heat, concerning space-time, generation source, sensible and
latent heat in 500m mesh. The cluster analysis was operated using the data of
anthropogenic exhaustion heat and the distribution map differentiated by districts
in Tokyo 23 wards was made. The database of anthropogenic exhaustion heat by this research with a distinction
between sensible and latent heat can be valuable
for numerical simulation of air temperature and humidity in the future."
