Outline

We aim to develop microfluidic cell devices which can operate with live single cells for cell function dynamics analysis by photonic and nano-biosensing systems. Centrifugal fluid microchips are applied for precise diagnosis of human immunological cells and micro tumor tissues such as lung tumor biopsy specimens. The platform determine the profiles of the receptor proteins on individual cells and link with production of cytokines and reactive oxygen species, etc. as cellular response signals. Finally, the present systems open a new avenue for medical diagnostic equipments based on single cell analyses.
