ホンモノの南極の氷を観察してみましょう！そして研究者に過去や未来の地球環境を問いかけてみませんか？地球上の雪や氷の分布は、これまでの気候変動と相互作用しながら現在までダイナミックに変化してきました。南極・北極の氷からは過去の気候がどうであったかを調べることができます。また真っ白な雪や綺麗な氷の表面は、実は生物や微粒子によって様々な色に変わります。極地フィールド観測、衛星観測、コンピュータシミュレーションなどに関わる研究者と共に、これまで明らかになってきた雪氷の姿とその将来を考えます。

The distribution of snow and ice on Earth has been changing dynamically, interacting with the climate change.
