赤潮を知って，見て，さわって，嗅いで，測ってみよう！

私たちは，ウェブ上で赤潮発生状況を共有し，予測に繋げる活動を行なっています．このためのデータ収集には皆さんの協力が必要です．本企画では，来場者の方々に，まず赤潮がどのようなもので，社会にどんな影響を及ぼしているかを知って頂きます．赤潮を引き起こすプランクトンを顕微鏡で観察し，赤潮を再現した水槽を見て，赤潮がどの様に見えるかを実感して頂きます．そして，開発中のアプリを用いて赤潮の濃さを計測する疑似体験と対話を通して，このシステムを使いやすくするための提案をして頂きます．本企画が，自然・海との関わり方を考え，さらに海の環境問題の解決やSDGs達成への取り組むきっかけになれば，と思います．

We are sharing red tide outbreaks on the web for the forecasting. We need your cooperation to collect data of red tide occurrence for this purpose. In our booth, we introduce what red tides are and how they affect the society. Visitors will observe the living plankton that causes red tides under a microscope, and see what red tides look like in a water tank. Then, through a simulated experience of measuring the density of the red tide using an application of smartphone under development, and through dialogue, the participants will make suggestions for making this system easier to use. We hope that this project will help you to think about how to relate to nature and the ocean, and help you to solve environmental problems in the ocean and achieve the SDGs.
