国内最大級30種類の#原生生物 大集合！

原生生物はゾウリムシやアメーバなど、数億年前に生まれた原始的で単純な生き物です。雨風から大量絶滅まで激動の環境中を生き抜いてきました。本企画では30種類もの原生生物の生きた姿を顕微鏡で観察します。原生生物の何気ない動きや構造に、実は生きるための知恵や環境問題との意外なつながりが潜んでいます。顕微鏡観察から生まれたワクワクや疑問をもとに、「小さな原生生物と社会との接点」や「社会応用だけでない基礎研究の愉しみ方」について想いを巡らせてみませんか？皆さんの自由な気づきをカルタ風にまとめ、イベント終了後も遊んで学べる「原生生物カルタ」を来場者の皆さんで作りましょう！

Protists (i.e., Paramecium and Amoeba) are single-celled microorganisms that emerged hundreds of millions of years ago on the earth. They have survived in harsh environments through climate changes and mass extinctions. In our event, you can observe about 30 species of living protists using a microscope. Their motilities and structures are important factors to survive and struggle in the environment. In addition to learning fundamental research topics, let's consider the interplay between these tiny microorganisms and society. Also, your comments have the possibility to select a sentence in our making "Protists Karuta" (a traditional card game in Japan). Let's learn, play, and enjoy with protists!
