図形をピッタリ敷きつめてできる模様をテセレーションといいます。建物の外壁や床面などのタイルの敷きつめのようなテセレーションは古くから親しまれていますが、最近になって数学者が驚くような発見もありました。そのようなテセレーションを見て楽しむだけでなく、パズルなどを通してタイルを実際に並べる・触れる体験ができます。私たちはテセレーションを利用した教育活動も積極的に展開しています。見たり触れたりしながら，そのテセレーションの背景にある数学についてもお話しできるので、複合的な体験ができます。
