Toshiya KAIHARA
Professor, Kobe University
[] Outline
By using behavioral observation methods, we will measure the structure of purchasing behavior of customers of service industries that produce and supply tangible goods to customers such as the restaurant business. We will also investigate the connection between sales area configuration and service functions in an environment where production information is provided to the customer, and we will analyze its subjective utility to customers in order to improve service quality. Furthermore, in preparation for implementation of integrated producer-retailer information circulation, we will investigate the relevance of the service design, planning, and production methods using the results obtained.
