Study on the platform to support wise use of personal information in the data portability era
Project Outline
"Comprehensive Personal Information (CI-PI)" can be generated by introducing data portability (DP). This is a new information asset created by an individual by exercising the right of DP himself, through collecting and integrating fragmentarypersonal information generated in the process of service provision.
This project will conductscenario analysis and impact analysis from three viewpoints of individual (consumer), enterprise/industry, and society/public with respect to generation, distribution and use of CI-PI. Based on that analysis, we designed a CI-PI distribution and utilization mechanism as a social system and developed a platform consisting of software and expert communities to support dialogue between individuals (consumers), companies, and society/public to support the realization of wise use.
