This project aims at constructing the town of Kiryu for the future, where people can live comfortably by realizing the sustainable environment through drastic reduction of CO2 emission. It could be realized by the systematic and integral cooperating works among academia, industries, citizens and administrative agency. It includes the town design utilizing the local products of woods, small farming with mats of flowers and vegetables, eco-sightseeing with bikes and public transportations and exhibitions of eco-technologies such as the micro-EV and low-speed E-bus technologies. Finally this project presents a unique model of active town for leading the world.
