Formation of low carbon Bunkyo City through induction of voluntary actions

Voluntary actions by citizens to save energy consumptions are promoted in Bunkyo City, Tokyo. Various promotion programs in nursery school, kindergarten, primary and secondary school, neighborhood community and small events are implemented. Small companies and universities are organized for exchange information. Human resources for these activities are developed through lecture and training program. Further collaboration with the local government is promoted.
