President Kazuhito HASHIMOTO of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and Dr. Kungratbay SHARIPOV, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between JST and the Agency for Innovative Development Under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan (AID) on December 19^th 2025 at the JST Tokyo Headquarters.

The MoC is expected to promote scientific cooperation between Japan and Uzbekistan by strengthening the partnership between JST and AID through cooperative activities and researcher exchanges.
