On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the Center for Research and Development Strategies (CRDS) and the Office for International Science and Technology Policy and Information Study jointly hosted the Roundtable on Science Advice 2024 at the Kyoto International Conference Center.

JST held a roundtable discussion on the occasion of the 21th Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum, bringing together those who are playing scientific advisory roles in various ways to discuss common interests and concerns. The participants engaged in frank discussions on the role of science and technology advisors and scientific advice in ensuring research security.
